No one could have predicted that D'Angelo would return to the spotlight after more than a decade away from the stage.  But there he was at last year's Bonnaroo Music Festival, arriving to the stage after an unexpected introduction from Questlove: "I've been waiting 12 years to say this, ladies and gentlemen, D'Angelo!"

Now here's your chance to see what went on in the days leading up to that concert in Manchester, Tennessee.  You can check out high-definition footage of the "SUPERJAM" session featuring D'Angelo, Questlove and all-star musicians including Pino Palladino and James Poyser. 

The first episode in the series is out now, and includes covers of music from The Time, The Ohio Players, Parliament-Funkadelic and The Beatles.  Photographer Danny Clinch filmed and directed the video series, and more clips are slated for release soon. 

The Bonnaroo Music Festival returns this June.  This year's headliners includes R. Kelly, Wu-Tang Clan and Kendrick Lamar.
